Bowl Game

Well I finally went and saw my first BYU football game live since being home. It was great! Our seats were on the 50 yard line, seventh row! I have never sat that close! Albuquerque was a fun town with excellent food, however, be forewarned: all of the restaraunts closed at eight. The best part was BYU beating Utep 52 to 24! Good times good times!

Things To Do

Anyone who knows me knows that I love to make lists. Lately I have fallen a bit behind and so I have created quite a comprehensive list to get back on track. Nestled in that list between buying new toothpaste and working on my final folklore paper is to blog. Seems funny I know but I do love to make lists. So where to start? Life is really great. I don't mean to be annoyingly positive but I just feel like I have been really really blessed. Don't get me wrong there have been hard times but I just feel huge blessings having come to pass after those difficulties. I am trunky! I miss Brasil so much! It seems like I try to associate everything here with something there. I got to hang out with a real life Brazilian this weekend and she only increased my brasilsickness! I feel like my time in Brazil defines me, not just because it was a mission, but because of the people there and the amazing culture. I am so glad that I get to go back.
Besides lists and Brazil I also love saving money and this week I got a heck of a sweet deal at Target and Rite Aid. I got a sonicare toothbrush for $5 and a bunch of other products for $10. OOOH how I love to get good deals! I hope to be able to post a picture of my swag. I am hoping to be able to link my blog to my new email but it does not seem to be working so I may just have to start a new one. So the memory card is having some difficulties and I've got things to cross of my list so I'll add it later.

Repentance

I am not a good blogger...not at all. I keep having mental ideas of what to blog about but I have not blogged. So, now I am repenting and trying to get back into it. I guess the biggest news woul be that I am going back to Brazil! I am so excited! I do not know very much about the oppurtunity except that I am going Fall Semester 2011 but I do not know where yet. I do know that I am sooo excited. This is going to be such a special oppurtunity. Today is the big game day! I have been waiting for this for two years and since I will not be here next year I sure hope we can represent.

Bed of roses

So, I am a nanny! The parents are in Taiwan for ten days and I am taking care of them So far, so Good. Last night we made caramel apples and they were delicious. Gannon( the 4 year old) said the cutest thing yesterday out of the blue. "Kimber, you are going to get married, and grow flowers". So cute!

10 pounds and counting

Well, I will break my recent hiatus by some good news! I have lost ten pounds! I have been working really hard at running and going to aerobics classes and it has paid off! I have reached the ten pound mark. I still have lots to go, but I am really excited about it! I did just sprain my ankle on Saturday so there is another hurdle but we'll jump it!

Slacking

A month later...talk about procrastination. It is okay, I am pretty sure no one reads this anyway! I just read a friend's blog,who is an english major, and I am therefore feeling very bashful about my freehand...I'm not a great writer, but I guess I'll give it a try. Well, big news! I am training for a 5k. I am already in week 5, so just three more to go and I should be ready. I am not a runner not do I think I will ever be but it has been a great goal setting experience!
